Scope: This policy covers the gratefulforu.com marketing website and the Weekly Gratitude email newsletter. It does not cover the separate Grateful For U web application, which has its own terms and privacy notice.

Who we are

Grateful For U (women-owned and operated) operates gratefulforu.com and the Weekly Gratitude newsletter. Our mailing address is 1000 Johnnie Dodds Blvd Ste 103, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464-3135. You can reach us at info@gratefulforu.com.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

• Newsletter signup — when you subscribe, we collect your email address, the fact and time of your consent, and where you signed up (e.g. this website). We use a double opt-in process, so we also record your confirmation.
• Contact and inquiry forms — if you fill out a form on this site (e.g. to request a demo or ask a question), we collect what you submit: name, email, organization, and message.

We do not currently use website analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies for tracking purposes on this marketing site.

How we use your information

• To send the Weekly Gratitude newsletter to subscribers who have opted in.
• To measure aggregate newsletter engagement (such as open and click rates) so we can improve what we send.
• To respond to inquiries submitted through a contact form.
• To meet legal, security, and recordkeeping obligations (for example, maintaining evidence of consent).

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use Mailchimp (Intuit Mailchimp) to send and manage the newsletter; your email address and engagement data are processed by Mailchimp on our behalf, subject to Intuit's privacy statement. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe — every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also update your preferences using the link in any newsletter email.
• Access, correction, or deletion — email info@gratefulforu.com to request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

How long we keep information

We keep newsletter subscriber records, including consent evidence, for as long as you're subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and recordkeeping requirements. If you unsubscribe, we retain your address on a suppression list to make sure we don't email you again, even if it's later re-imported by mistake.

Children's privacy

This website and newsletter are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change or as required by law. Material changes will update the effective date above.
